Welcome to the first module for VITAL: Relational Health. We are grateful you have made learning about the importance of relational health a priority. Throughout this course, you will see that relational health is grounded in the science of behavioral, mental, and physical health and that relational health is a vital component of standard medical care.
This introductory module sets the stage for the VITAL: Relational Health learning series. It offers definitions and key aspects of relational health and provides an overview of what to expect from the rest of the learning series.

2. Describe why relational health is VITAL to the health and well-being of our patients.
